My handmade pens are a true testament to the artistry and craftsmanship that goes into creating a high-quality writing instrument. Each pen is meticulously crafted, taking between 3-5 hours to complete, depending on the kit and complexity of the material being turned.
I take pride in sourcing our kits and materials from around the world, with many of them imported or bought from Australia.
Every pen is individually hand-turned and sanded to an impressive 12000 grit, ensuring a smooth and flawless finish. To further enhance its durability and beauty, each pen undergoes a meticulous finishing process. I apply 20 coats of Cyanoacrylate, a strong adhesive known for its excellent bonding properties, followed by a polishing with microcrystalline wax. I also use various other intricate finishing techniques.
The complexity of my procedure requires fine attention to detail, ensuring that each pen meets a high standard of excellence. I understand that the pen you order is not just a writing instrument, but a work of art. Therefore, I embrace the uniqueness of each piece of timber, resin, or material used in the pens.
Due to the natural variations in the materials used, the pen you receive may differ in color and pattern from the pictures. This individuality makes each pen truly one of a kind, as no two pieces of timber are alike.
